C38 heat pump vacuum concentrator
The C38, a heat pump concentrator operating under hard vacuum at low evaporating temperature, comes from our wide experience in the field of must concentration and our knowledge of the product and its behaviour during this delicate process. Ideal for small wine producers who wish to maintain uniform quality unaffected by the vagaries of the climate. The technique is especially suitable for must from red grapes as it produces wine with enhanced tannin content and a richer colour.
• Works with clean unprocessed must, without the problem of clogging and the formation of foam, adopting technical solutions exclusive to Cadalpe;
• Due to the high degree of vacuum, the evaporation temperature takes a value between 20° and 24° C. This feature, together with the use of a descending veil evaporator (unique for this class of equipment) contributes to an extreme delicacy in treatment.
• The heating temperature can be varied in order to favor the process quality o a higher yield;
• The appliance is ready to use and easily operated. It does not require the presence of an operator, except for periodic washing;

• Operation is fully automatic and the machine turns off when production is complete;
• It can operate with a closed loop cycle, with reduced flow rate, on the full mass of must to reach a given concentration, or on a fraction of the must in transit, resulting in a concentrate of 60-65° Brix to be used later for sugar adjustment. The method is recommended since it considerably reduces loss of aroma.
• Energy consumption is limited to that required for operation of the compressor motors and the only water consumed is that for periodic washing out of the circuit.

The structure is designed to strictest current standards and is in line with Cadalpe’s traditional high quality.
