C 19 Vacuum concentrator
C 19 Simplex concentration plant operates in a vacuum at low temperatures. It is the result of studies into specific production needs and provides performance equal to that of highly sophisticated multiple effect descending film plant.
Ideal for smaller wine producers who wish to maintain uniform quality standards independently of the vagaries of the climate, placing at their disposal a wine-making practice particularly suitable not only for enriching the sugar content but also for holding the balance of the must components (extracts, ash, etc.) so that a completely natural finished product
is guaranteed. It is provided with an efficient heat exchanger of the scraped cylinder type, situated in the area where the final stages of the process take place and designed to cool concentrated must to the ideal temperature both for storage and for adding immediately to the mass. The C 19 Simplex Concentrator is high tech equipment operating on the descending veil principle with high exchange coefficients, reduced contact times and low heat differentials, all of which give the following fundamental advantages:
• heating by means of hot water at +60°C;
• vacuum evaporation at a temperature of +35°C;
• steam condensation with water at +23/24°C from a recovery tower;
• cooling of concentrate at +12/15°C with chilled water at +7°C;
• achievement of concentrates with the same organoleptic characteristics as the must;
• adjustable degree of concentration from 28° to 36° Bé, in full compliance with current standards.

The work cycle is controlled by a master control board, through which the main stages of the process are carried out automatically.
